• National Marine Week Egagasini Node coordinated the activities of Marine Week in Cape Town and Port Elizabeth where schools were bussed and scientists’ interactions with learners and teachers were effected every day of the week. • Sciefest 2014 Once again the Magic Planet attracted a lot of learners and visitors to the SAEON exhibit at the Grahamstown Foundation. • SA Agulhas Open Day Christopher and Thomas represented SAEON and exhibited at the SA Agulhas Open Day. Thomas coordinated schools participation for the open day. • School Science Day The Node hosted with Sophumelela Secondary a Science Day with Node partners participating in encouraging understanding and opportunities in Science not limited to Marine Science Day. This proved to be very valuable to the school.
