Hosting Institution

The SAEON nodes are hosted by various collaborating institutions. The Grasslands-Forests-Wetlands Node is hosted by Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife, the provincial conservation agency for KwaZulu-Natal, at their headquarters in Queen Elizabeth Park Pietermaritzburg, KZN. Working in close collaboration with EKZNW, through an enabling hosting agreement, enables land access to key sites, logistical support and mutually beneficial value adding observation science and research facilitation between EKZNW and the SAEON GFW node.
