NOVATECH Radio Beacons are used in a wide variety of submersible and surface applications. During submersible applications, they are attached to underwater equipment and when the equipment returns to the surface, the radio beacon turn on automatically to provide a radio signal to assist in the recovery of the equipment. SEIMAC Location Beacons contain a transmitter designed as a incident alerting system for oceanographic applications anywhere in the world. The location beacon can be submerged for long periods in ocean depths to 7300 meters. The activation of this instrument is automatic, when submerged below 10 meters it is OFF and at the surface it is ON.
