Amber de Decker-"Human Disturbance of Blister Bush in Platteklip Gorge"

Amber de Decker is grade 9 learner at Herschel Secondary School based in Cape Town. She received a framed certificate for best project in environmental monitoring and evaluation, along with a pair of binoculars and a book entitled "Observations on environmental Change in South Africa", all conferred by SAEON Education Outreach Coordinator: Sibongile Mokoena, in representation of the South African Environmental Observation Network (SAEON).

Amber did not only receive the SAEON special award, she also received a "silver metal" award from Eskom Expo and was invited as a candidate for possible international participation in representation of South Africa.
