SAEON at the Eskom Expo 2014
SAEON's Education Outreach Coordinator, Sibongile Mokoena(right) giving a SAEON Special Award to Luphelo Belu(left) from Grahamstown in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, for Best Project in Environmental Monitoring at the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists Award Ceremony 2014. His(Luphelo) research project centred on the water crisis experienced at the surrounding Grahamstown areas in the Eastern Cape and was titled: "investigating water shortages in Grahamstown East".
SAEON's Special Award Recipient
Timika Ballantyne, from Kwazulu-Natal Central, receiving a SAEON Special Award for Best Project in Environmental Monitoring, with her research project titled: "Shrimp population in the Serpentine River", at the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists 2014.
SAEON Special Award Recipient
Iris Jarre, from Cape Town in the Western Cape Province, also received a SAEON Special Award for Best Project in Environmental Monitoring at the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists 2014 and her research project was titled: "Does research harm Robben Island penguins."
